ANDREW SMITH - CAPTAIN
Andy’s lifelong passion for the ocean began with surfing, sparking a journey that would take him across the globe in search of the perfect wave. As a former junior professional surfer, he developed a deep respect for the sea—a respect that now guides his work as a charter captain. Before stepping into the world of luxury charters, Andy began his maritime career as a delivery captain, successfully crossing both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. This extensive experience honed his navigational expertise and gave him a unique perspective on adventure and safety at sea. For the past seven years, Andy has been at the helm of catamarans throughout the Caribbean, sharing his love of the water with guests. Whether it’s leading you to a secluded snorkeling site, reeling in a big catch, or simply charting the perfect course for your trip, Andy’s goal is to create unforgettable memories. When he’s not at sea, Andy channels his creativity into Japanese carpentry, handcrafting furniture with the same precision and patience he brings to sailing. With his wealth of experience and calm, capable presence, Andy is committed to making your charter aboard Jan’s Felion an extraordinary adventure.

ELAINE DRAGUET - CHEF
Growing up in Marbella, a picturesque seaside town in southern Spain, Eliane was destined for a life connected to the ocean. With her father working as a charter captain in the Mediterranean, she spent her childhood surrounded by boats, salt air, and the rhythms of life at sea. Eliane’s culinary journey began at the Basque Culinary Center, one of Europe’s premier institutions for gastronomy and culinary arts. There, she trained under some of Spain’s most renowned chefs, mastering a diverse range of cooking techniques and cuisines. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience at prestigious restaurants across Europe, including Monkey Club in Marbella, Agrikultur in Stockholm (1 Michelin star), Skina (2 Michelin stars), and Bæst in Copenhagen. With a Belgian, Spanish, and American background, Eliane brings a worldly perspective to her cooking. Her adventurous spirit and passion for travel are reflected in her dishes, which draw inspiration from the many cultures she has experienced. After refining her craft in the Mediterranean, she set her sights on combining her love of the sea with her love of cuisine—training to become a professional yacht chef. Now based in the British Virgin Islands, Eliane delights guests aboard Jan’s Felion with innovative, beautifully presented meals that showcase fresh, local ingredients and her signature creative flair.

BRENDA LIMA - STEWARDESS
Brenda’s journey began in Brazil, but it was her move to St. Kitts & Nevis at just six years old that shaped her deep connection to the Caribbean. Growing up surrounded by stunning beaches and turquoise waters, she developed an early love for outdoor adventure and life on the sea. Today, Brenda channels that passion into her role aboard Jan’s Felion, where she ensures guests are cared for with warmth and attention to detail. She is an avid paddleboarder, kayaker, swimmer, and snorkeler—sharing her enthusiasm for the water with everyone she meets. Having lived in several countries and traveled extensively, both personally and professionally, Brenda has a natural gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. Her experiences have fostered excellent communication skills and an intuitive ability to anticipate guest needs. Energetic, outgoing, and a true team player, Brenda is also confident working independently and taking initiative. Whether she’s setting up a picture-perfect beach picnic, refreshing your favorite cocktail, or making sure every detail of your cabin is just right, Brenda brings a personal touch that elevates your charter experience.
